Terms of use

Last updated May 2026

Welcome to Israelite Dating (the “Service”). These Terms of Use form a binding agreement between you and Israelite Dating (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

The Service is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, single (or otherwise free under applicable law to seek a relationship), and legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your place of residence. We may suspend or remove accounts that do not meet this requirement, including without notice where required by law.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity on your account. Provide accurate information where you choose to share it (for example, your age, photos, and profile fields). One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone else, share your account, or create accounts on behalf of another person without their consent.

3. Community standards

We’re building a respectful space. By using the Service you agree not to:

We may remove content, restrict access, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these standards or that put members or the Service at risk. Where appropriate we cooperate with law enforcement.

4. Your content & licence

You retain ownership of the content you post (photos, bio, messages, meetup details). By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service — including showing your profile to other members and powering features such as messaging, meetups, notifications, and moderation. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we are required to retain it for legal, security, or audit reasons.

You confirm that you have the right to share what you post and that your content does not violate anyone’s rights or the law.

5. Membership & payments

Some features are available only with a paid Membership. Pricing, what’s included, and any one-time or lifetime nature of the offer are described on the Membership page at the time of purchase. Checkout is processed by our payment provider (currently Gumroad), whose terms also apply to the transaction. Taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) are calculated and collected by the payment provider where applicable.

Refunds are handled per our payment provider’s buyer policy and the consumer-protection laws in your region (for example, the EU/UK right-of-withdrawal rules where they apply). If you believe you’re owed a refund, please contact Support.

6. Safety, blocking & reporting

You can block any member from their profile and report concerns from the same place. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We may take action ranging from a warning to permanent removal. The Safety page has a short checklist to help you stay safe online and offline.

7. Service availability & changes

We work hard to keep the Service available, but it is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Features may change as the product evolves. We may add, remove, or limit features, and we may stop offering the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if there’s a security or safety risk, or if we’re required to by law. On termination, the licence in section 4 ends as described, subject to retention rules in our Privacy notice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, certain consumer-protection rights).

10. Disputes & governing law

We’d rather sort things out together than in court. If you have a concern, please contact Support first. If a dispute remains, it will be resolved under the laws of the jurisdiction where Israelite Dating is operated, without applying conflict-of-law rules, and in the courts of that jurisdiction — except where mandatory local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product changes or to reflect new legal requirements. When changes are material, we’ll let you know — through the app, by email, or by an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
